Jesus loves talking with us, and being as a young, we too all wish to hear his voice desperately. Even though we have that passion and wish, sometimes we are not being able to hear his voice clearly due to distracting by the things going in our life.
In this morning, I would like to encourage you to be thirsty to hear his voice. When we are really thirsty for something spiritually, we only get satisfied after getting what we want spiritually, but if we don’t what our spirit wants, then we will keep being thirsty. In our Christian life, it is really important to become thirsty to hear God’s voice. It’s not just you, but God also really wants to talk to you and direct your life according to his will, but first of all, we have to remove every walls and distraction from our life that are stopping us from hearing his voice by giving your life to him, living in his presence, and worshiping him all the time. Our strength is not enough to overcome our weakness, so we have to ask him for help, so we can overcome with all the distractions that are blocking his voice. Sometimes, we expect Jesus to come physically and talk with us, but usually, he talks with us through the pastors, normal Christian people, and the bible. If God wants to fulfill his will in your life, then he will speak to you in different ways. After hearing his voice, it’s very important to response him immediately. In Isaiah 6:8, it says “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” As soon as Isiah heard the voice of God, he immediately responds saying “Here am I. Send me.” In our young age, we go through many difficult circumstances. Though we heard his voice through different ways to make our life better, we neglect it sometimes.
Today, I would really like to encourage you all response his voice when he called you for his ministry and another different purpose. Let’s not neglect his voice, but respond it immediately like Isiah. We might be going through the very hard time in our life, but when he called you for his purpose, let’s not ignore it because he has the better plan for us to make our life better. No one is greater than our Lord, and he likes to talk to you every day. His mercy is new every morning. New mercy is like a packet of thousands blessing, and in order to fulfill that we have to carefully listen to his voice and forward our life according to his direction. I would really to like to encourage you to respond his voice like Isiah and let him use your life like how Isiah did to God. God has a huge plan for all the young people, and he wants you to work for his kingdom. That’s why let’s be always prepared to hear his voice and respond immediately.
